Thank you for requesting this feature and we’re happy to say that in the update that has just been released, you are now able to disable the pause buttons. This can be done by taking the following steps:
- Open FitXR and go into ‘Settings’
- Find ‘Pause Options’
- Click ‘Menu, A and X Button’ once so this now says ‘Menu Button’
This will disable A and B buttons as your pause buttons and from now the Menu button on the left hand controller will be reconfigured as the pause button.
Thanks again for your feedback about this and we really hope this helps improve your experience.

Charlie FitXR: thank you very much for taking the request into account !

Yes, very frustrating to have the game stop suddenly at my peak effort.
Kevin Bakken
better yet , get rid of the controller and use hand tracking please

Disappointing that this hasn't been taken care of it! I love this game but the frustration level of hitting the pause button has caused me not to play much as I was doing initially. I'd rather play BeatSaber b/c it doesn't Pause on me!!!

After almost a month of 30 minutes daily workout in FitXR i still pause the game by mistake daily and lose my streak. So this is basically the feature request I signed up to this page for. Please give this issue priority as it is game breaking. Otherwise I really love this game. So please keep the good work up.

Yes please! I LOVE love love FItXR but the pause button needs to be reconfigured.

Not only change the pause button, but when we push Resume, we need a more graceful resume instead of the objectives slamming us. Look at Beat Saber, you get a nice count down and a clear view of what is about to come at you.

Anthony: Yeah, this is a really solid suggestion and easy to implement.

I think this is the most annoying bug I have seen in a video game. I haven't been using VR for long but either change the pause input to something less intrusive or let us remap it.
