I’d easily pay for a membership

I love the combination of boxing and dancing, the instructor “led” courses, the gym metaphor, etc. but after a few weeks the classes are starting to cycle through (even with expansions). I know music licensing, developing levels, etc. takes resources but I’d easily pay for a monthly membership that offers regular class updates (like that other VR fitness app).

I use this application sporadically, so I do not plan to pay for membership. In fact, I think they should refund me as the terms and conditions have changed.

Josep M. Miró: Yes, I too try to get a refund through Oculus. I paid for a 4+ star app a week ago, 8 days later, as the App Store stands 1-stars make up 20% of the ratings and it is sinking like Titanic.

They heard us!! Lol I'm so happy about this update honestly. I'm gonna do the trial and see how it goes. I definitely won't use it every day forever but we'll see if it's worth the monthly.

I would never pay for any membership. FitXR should put more extra content - i would gladly consider buying it - but mebership? No... thanks

I would to

I agree, if there were some additional features (songs, levels, environments, visual customizations) or something that a membership unlocked I'd be happy to pay something reasonable.
Gergo Viczian
I would not either. The only reason to get FitXR vs SuperNatural is that this is a one time payment, the other is constant milking. Who wants to pay $240 each year for something like this???
Catherine Taft
Gergo Viczian: I mean I think an important distinction would be that you wouldn't HAVE to. Like, as far as I know there's no free version of Supernatural, you just pay a kind of bonkers fee. If FitXR added additional things for a reasonable membership cost while letting people use the app as it is now for free, I think that would be fine. I would NOT pay for it if the whole game was behind a paywall, I agree.

Catherine Taft: I think a good middleground would be expansion packs becoming available on a monthly basis. And whoever wants to buy them can.
Although a much better way to do it is to share the burden of the work with the community by allowing custom content to be created by the community. Then it's no extra work / licensing for the developers, and we users can share our work with each other.
Josep M. Miró
Gergo Viczian: Same for me. now it has not sense for a causual use

Well... I would not. I really don't like that kind of payment as you may end up stuck with an app you do not use often anymore but you do not want to miss either.
